Unveiled at the Florida RV SuperShow, this 24.5-foot-long Mercedes-based camper van provides a rolling home with an extra 18 inches of length compared to the Ford-based version. The Ekko Sprinter accommodates up to five people (with the optional pop-top roof), featuring a unique interior layout.
In the front, the living area includes swiveling captain's chairs that face inward, with a sofa and lounge chair around a small table. The sofas and table can fold to create a bed if needed. Moving toward the center, you'll find the wet bath and kitchen, complete with a refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, and a portable induction cooktop stove that can be used outside under the extendable awning. The bathroom and kitchen sink are connected to a 50-gallon fresh water tank, with a 51-gallon gray water tank for drainage. The Ekko Sprinter's rear bedroom features twin beds that can be converted into a transverse queen-sized bed.
Designed for off-road adventures, the Ekko Sprinter comes standard with all-wheel-drive, "elevated" ground clearance, and all-terrain tires. It is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline-four engine generating 211 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The van also boasts various safety and convenience features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, rain-sensing wipers, and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.
With a starting price of $235,738, the Ekko Sprinter presents a luxurious and adventurous option for those seeking a unique camper van experience.
